Mansakonko Area Council earlier today received visitors from United Nation International Child Emergency fund (UNICEF) and has a fruitful discussion with the Council held at Chairman’s office.
Sandra Latmuf the country representative of UNICEF in the Gambia disclosed to the Council that they are on a courtesy call to relevant Authorities which Council is not exceptional in the Region. She emphasized more on the welfare of children special those on the streets and how to address their issues.
The Chairman of Mansakonko Area Council Mr Landing B Sanneh gave synopsis of Council projects and has assured them that Council is committed to bring development to the people of LRR. He said partners like UNICEF specially their intervention in the NSAKENO PROJECT is addressing the welfare of children particularly the vulnerable one.
